ABOUT

Nicole Lampl is currently the Director/Curator at the Reeves House Visual Arts Center in Woodstock, GA. She also serves as an independent art consultant and advisor. She received her M.A. in Art History from Tulane University and graduated with honors from UC Berkeley with a dual B.A. in Art History and Studio Art. Originally from Los Angeles, Nicole is currently based in the Metro Atlanta Area, but has lived in San Francisco, Paris, New Orleans, Berlin, and Vienna. While in graduate school, she spent a year in Berlin and Vienna after being awarded a competitive fellowship to perform research for her Master’s thesis about the artist Gustav Klimt.

Nicole has over a decade of professional experience in the art world, including at the New Orleans Museum of Art, several contemporary art galleries in San Francisco and Los Angeles, art consulting firms, and in arts education. Her writing has been published in several academic journals and presented at conferences around the country.  She is also an artist herself and creates paintings that are inspired by microscopic cellular imagery, data visualization, and mapping.
